The apartments are located on the top floor of a building originally designed for office use in the centre of San Sebastian.
Entry to the building requires climbing a staircase comprising 10 steps which means that there is unfortunately no disabled access. However, once up these ten steps there is a lift to all floors.
The location of the building is second to none - a stones throw from the María Cristina Hotel, the most luxurious in all the San Sebastian which plays host to the visiting stars during the annual San Sebastian film festival.
From its central location, the apartment is within reasonable distance of any part of the city.
Upon leaving the building, heading right leads to the 'Boulevard' where the San Martín shopping centre can be found amongst the various terrace cafés and bars. This is also where the old part of the city begins.
At one end of the boulevard is where the river Urumea meets the sea, and where the Kursaal bridge provides access to the Kursaal Congress Hall and the Zurriola beach.
At the other end of the Boulevard is the Town Hall and from here the Aquarium, the ' Paseo de la Concha' and the Alderdi-Eder gardens are within easy walking distance.
Heading left upon leaving the building leads to the 'Avenida de la Libertad' (or 'Avenue of Freedom') which is the business and commercial heart of the city. Continuing down this avenue also leads to the 'Paseo de la Concha' and the world-famous 'La Concha' beach.
The streets leading off from the 'Avenida' take us into the city's main shopping district and from there to the 'Plaza del Buen Pastor' or 'Square of the Good Shepherd'..
The 'La Concha' beach is the focal point of the city - a stroll along the beach takes us directly to one of the city's other two beaches: Ondarreta.
Alternatively, Ondarreta beach or Mount Igeldo are accessible via a short bus ride from the properties and the bus stop is literally on the apartment's doorstep.
